Geneva & Lexa have had lots of company the past few days. Pop (my dad) came up Friday to see the girls. Granny & Granddad (Patrick's parents) came up Saturday. And SuSu (my mom) dropped by Sunday afternoon to feed the girls. These are pictures taken of Granny & Granddad holding the twins. They hadn't seen them since their birthday & couldn't believe how much they have changed & grown. We had fun while they were in town. We had Mexican food Saturday night & went up to the hospital three times. Come back soon, Bill & Patti! Somehow you got out of changing diapers, but not next time. Geneva is now over 6 pounds & both are eating like crazy. They latch on to their bottles & don't let go! They are being discharged tomorrow afternoon. I really think they could have gone home Friday, but the doctor didn't want us to go home on the weekend just in case we needed the pediatrician, which is probably best. We are scheduled to meet with him on Wednesday. I think the house is as ready as can be. We had our last date night tonight & had our last runs to Wal-Mart & the grocery store. Their swings, bouncy seats, & cribs are ready. As for the dog & cat, who knows if they are prepared! We are both really nervous, mainly about sleep deprivation because we have to make them eat every 3 hours, because they are premies, even if they aren't too interested. I guess we'll get it all figured out. It's been a long 4 weeks having them in the hospital & we can't wait to introduce them to their home.

Happy 1st Father's Day, Patrick! I am SO excited the girls are finally going home! Yes, you will definitely be sleep deprived, but it will be worth every minute. They may quickly fall into a pattern of taking more milk and less feedings. Be sure to update the blog when you can spare a minute so we can see them in their beautiful new cribs and room. Can't wait for my first cuddle! Love, Karen (Goins)/Sheridan
Welcome Home Geneva and Lexa!
