New Pics of the Babies

Here are some new pictures of the babies.  Geneva is the one with the dark hair and Lexa with light hair.  Patrick's helpful hint:  "L"exa has "l"ong "l"egs, "l"ight hair and is "l"ighter in weight.  Patrick had to go back to work today and it is killing him.  Good news is he is a teacher so only a week and a half left.  He loves his little ones so much and they are so calmed by his touch & voice.  My mom & I spent an hour with them this morning in the NICU.  They have lost a little weight which is normal but are completely off the oxygen, more than 15 hours now and are doing well.  It is just so hard to have them be a part of me since October and now they are here in the world but can't be with us.  Now that I am feeling better and more mobile, I can at least visit them more often.  Looks like I will be discharged on Friday.  No word on the girls but it will likely be 3 to 4 weeks on the optimistic side.  It will be so awkward going home without them but hopefully the time will pass swiftly and this will soon be a distant memory.

Les, I don't know if you knew that Aunt Joy was a majorette in high school and known her whole life by her beautiful legs. My dad, Lee Webb, NEVER called her anything but "Legs," so thought this would be an interesting story to add to Lexa's baby book. If Chris had been a girl, his name would have been "Elizabeth" as Aunt Joy was "Joy Elizabeth." Loving the photos--you look great, Les. Rest now. Cousin Karen, Sheridan
