Now that it's New Year's I am finally blogging about Christmas :) Thanks to work, we had a quick weekend trip and a whirlwind of three unwrappings. As usual, not many pictures because we were so busy keeping the girls out of trouble (and other people's gifts). The girls were really excited Christmas Eve eyeing the presents all day. I kept telling them they could unwrap them when it got dark. Lexa was quick to announce when it was dark even wanting to skip dinner.

We were glad to have SuSu join us for Christmas Eve dinner & unwrapping. Granny asked Geneva "who is coming to see you tonight?" thinking she would answer Santa Claus, instead she answered SuSu!!

For Christmas Day we were off to Pop's. The girls big gift--tricycles! One purple, one red. It will take some practice, but they have the idea. After our immediate family gift opening, we were off to Bob & Martha's for our big family gathering with all the cousins, aunts, & uncles. What good food!! I had two pieces of chocolate pie and LOTS of dressing. Lexa was very tired & actually slept upstairs through the gift opening. Geneva, on the other hand, had twice as many presents to open & thrived off the attention. We were on our way home by 4:00 and stopped halfway at the only restaurant open, IHOP and ate pancakes for dinner. We had a great Christmas!!
